Important Upcoming Dates

Homecoming Dance

This year, our Homecoming Dance will be held on October 18th from 7-9pm. Please see this flyer for details.
 

NJGPA Testing

NJGPA testing will begin this Monday, on October 6th. Participation will include only students in the class of 2026 who were not successful on ELA and/or Mathematics previously, or who need to participate to meet the State graduation assessment requirement.

Late Bus

As a reminder, please remember to sign up for the late bus during your lunch period. Signing up later in the day creates scheduling challenges and may result in your name not being added to the list.

From the Counseling Office

The Counseling Office will be taking 11th and 12th graders to visit:
-Moravian University on 10/15
-Monmouth University on 11/18
-Drexel on 2/10

Instant decision day at South for seniors:
-Moravian: 10/27
-Rider: 11/13

Next week we will continue to welcome Admissions Counselors from liberal arts and flagship universities to meet with our students in a small group setting. Students can register for these sessions through the "What's New" tile in Naviance. This is a fantastic opportunity for students to meet the people who will be making the acceptance decisions for the 2026 application cycle.

Cell Phone Protocols

Starting in the 2025–2026 school year, we ask that students place their cell phones in the designated classroom holder upon entering. Each teacher will provide you with a specific numbered spot for their class.
